26mm Baseball Glove

Up for sale is an all handmade 26mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap, made by me (Mott Straps). The glove used for this strap was a Rawlings Tom Seaver Autograph model baseball glove.  Seaver, nicknamed Tom Terrific, pitched for 20 seasons for the New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox.  He won the Cy Young award 3 times and was an All Star 12 times.  Seaver was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1992, and his number 41 was retired by the Mets in 1998. This baseball glove strap measures 26mm (no taper), 80 mm x 135 mm x ~5.1 mm thick.   I saddle stitched this strap with black Tiger thread - the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth. This strap features “Edge-U-Cated” on the buckle side and the faded “Tom Seaver” autograph on the long side.  The strap comes with one large floating keeper “Fastback model”. The first hole is 50 mm from the lug end.   Extra holes can be punched upon request. The strap includes a custom Mott stainless steel pre-V style screw-in buckle, as shown.  I can swap out the buckle to a custom Mott screw-in bronze buckle at no charge.  Just let me know upon checkout. Sizing :  Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
