24mm Baseball Glove

Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap, made by me (Mott Straps). The glove used for this strap was a Rawlings Dave Concepcion Autograph model baseball glove.  Concepcion played 19 years for the Cincinnati Reds, winning 4 NL pennants, 2 World Series, 5 gold gloves and was a 9 time All Star.  In 2007, the Reds retired his number 13. This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 82 mm x 133 mm x ~4.8mm thick.   I saddle stitched this strap with black Tiger thread - the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth. This strap features “HJF50” which is the glove number and “Rawlings” on the buckle side and the “Dave Concepcion” autograph on the long side.  The strap comes with one large floating keeper “Finest in the Field”. Of note is that the buckle side script is flipped so that it will be facing the other way when worn.  If you wear your watch on the left hand, the logo will actually face you.  I made it this way based on the amount of leather available on the glove and so the majority of the logo would be visible when worn.  Just another example of my saying with glove straps - “the glove is in charge”.  The first hole is 50 mm from the lug end.   Extra holes can be punched upon request. The strap includes a custom Mott stainless steel pre-V style screw-in buckle, as shown.  I can swap out the buckle to a custom Mott screw-in bronze buckle at no charge.  Just let me know upon checkout. Sizing :  Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
